Sea kayaking in Sogne Fjord
Join us on a cultural and historical sea kayaking tour to the idyllic Sognefjord.
Kayak tour starts at Limmesand, paddling through the Arnafjord which is an incredible experience and providing beautiful scenery. We’ll visit charming fishing village along the way and Breidfoss a waterfall that dips into Indrefjord and finishing the tour at Framfjord.
The Sognefjord or Sognefjorden is the largest and best known fjord in Norway and the second longest in the world.
There are many smaller fjords that branch from the main fjord, on this trip we’ll visit the Arnafjorden a lateral branch of the Sognefjord – sun-drenched and sheltered from strong winds, located on the South side of the fjord in Vik municipality. He has a length of 8.5 km and lies between the mountains Fagerdalsnipi (1245 moh) and Jambueggi (1145 moh).
In the innermost of Arnafjorden lies two small branches, Indrefjorden which is 2 km long and is the western part, the eastern fjord arm is called Framfjorden with 1,5km.
