Hiring Process

With hiring, our goal is to build teams that perform, fit our culture and brand, and stay.

  • 1. Apply

    You’ve read this and believe there’s a match?

  • 2. Screening

    Our HR Team will carefully review your application and CV to evaluate your qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role before proceeding to the next stage.
  • 3. Form with Assessment Questions

    This assessment is based to test a candidate across the same parameters:
    Candidate anamnesis, background experience, current professional moment and future aspirations, check specific skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • 4. The 1st Interview – Skills Assessment

    If you meet the requirements, we’ll set up a first video interview with our HR member.
    You will receive a few tasks to complete, to assess your ability for the role.
    All roles require a combination of technical, communication, and support tasks, maybe ability tests, some tasks presenting business cases or brand assessments.
  • 5. The 2nd Interview - Department Specialist

    If everything matches, we move on to a second video interview where you will present the tasks assigned, plus we’ll do a more in-depth talk about tasks, personal brand, cultural fit, problem-solving abilities, or brand assessment.
    We also do a talk with our key managers in the department. We can either do that interview via video or in person.

  • 7. The 3rd Interview - CEO

    If you continue to stand out as the best fit, we’ll schedule a third and last interview. This is often an opportunity to discuss any final questions, meet additional team members, and ensure both parties are aligned on culture, expectations, and long-term goals.
  • 8. Job Offer to be an Outdoor Norway Team Member

    If you are the chosen one, we move on to the official job offer. This will include all the details about the position, the next start date, compensation, and benefits. We’ll do our best to send it to you promptly so we can welcome you to Outdoor Norway.

Visa, UDI and the recruitment process

Residents of Canada, New Zealand, Argentina, Australia, and Japan aged under 31 have the opportunity to obtain a residence permit for extended holidays and work in Norway.

Securing your visa significantly boosts your prospects of joining our team as a Mountain Bike Guide, Whitewater Rafting Guide & Safety Kayaker, or Fjord Kayaking Guide. If your visa isn't finalized yet but you possess skills crucial to the team, we're open to discussing potential assistance once you progress through our recruitment process.
