Waiver form

(Below is a copy of our waiver form that every participant or guardian must sign before the activity. After you purchase your tour, multiday-tour, combo, rental your booking will be confirmed with an automated email and on this email there will be a link for you to sign the waiver forma and the same email you can share with your group participant's.)

This participation and/or rental agreement is between Outdoor Norway AS and The Participant and/or The Renter. This participation and rental agreement constitutes a Waiver and Release of Liability. Please read and understand this document before signing. By signing this document you assume risks and waive legal rights, including claims for negligence. Non-compliance with the below agreement may result in charges for loss or damage, personal or otherwise.   

I, The Participant and/or The Renter, hereby acknowledge that I am participating in an activity for which Outdoor Norway AS, or one of its subsidiaries (individually and collectively), is furnishing equipment and services which requires physical exercise. Said services, equipment, and physical exercise are inclusive of, without limitation, the activities and equipment of mountain biking, road biking, whitewater kayaking, river stand-up paddling, hiking, fjord kayaking, river canoeing, whitewater rafting, backcountry ski tour, snowshoes tour and private guided tour (all otherwise referred to as “The Activity”). 

I, The Participant and/or The Renter, hereby acknowledge that I am participating in an activity for which Outdoor Norway AS, or one of its subsidiaries (individually and collectively), is furnishing rental equipment and which requires physical exercise. Said rental equipment is inclusive of, without limitation, bikes (mountain, road, electric & BMX), kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, rafts, skis and snowshoes (all otherwise referred to as “The Rental Equipment”). I acknowledge that personal flotation devices are made available and are required to be worn while using paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and rafts. I acknowledge that helmets are made available and are required to be worn while using bikes (mountain, road, electric & BMX) or going to river activities.

I agree to abide by the instructions of Outdoor Norway AS guides, organisers, directors, representatives, agents, and/or officers (all otherwise referred to as "Outdoor Norway AS Parties") regarding my ability to safely participate in The Activity, and/or use The Rental Equipment. However, I fully understand and acknowledge that no amount of care, caution, instruction or expertise regarding The Activity or The Rental Equipment can completely eliminate all risks, regardless of whether I follow the instructions, precautions and recommendations of Outdoor Norway AS Parties.

I certify that I am in good health and physical condition, and do not suffer from any disability which would prevent myself from participating in The Activity and/or using The Rental Equipment. I fully understand that as a result of my participation in The Activity and/or by using The Rental Equipment, certain injuries, illness, permanent trauma, paralysis or death may occur. I also acknowledge and agree that my participation in The Activity and/or the use of The Rental Equipment may be terminated immediately if any of the Outdoor Norway AS Parties believe, in their sole discretion, that I am unable to complete The Activity and/or to properly use The Rental Equipment for any reason, or that I am under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

I agree to bear all risk and responsibility of and for any and all damage, loss or theft of The Rental Equipment or equipment used during The Activity, or any portions thereof, including, but not limited to vandalism or theft, and shall pay Outdoor Norway AS the full cost of repair or replacement. I also agree to return all of The Rental Equipment in the condition in which it was received, and to use all of The Rental Equipment for its designed purpose only. If applicable, minimum charges for excessive repairs, labor and/or cleaning will be applied to The Participant and/or The Renter.

I agree to release, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Outdoor Norway AS and its owners, agents, officers and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my participation in The Activity and/or during the use of The Rental Equipment. By signing this document, I acknowledge the releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that may occur at the present time, or in the future, for the negligent acts, omissions or other conduct by all Outdoor Norway AS Parties.

I acknowledge and grant permission for all Outdoor Norway AS Parties, including licensees and successors, the right to use my image in all forms including composite or modified representations for all purposes, including advertising, trade, or any commercial purpose throughout the world and in perpetuity. I waive the right to inspect or approve versions of my image used for publication or the written copy that may be used in connection with the images.

I have read and understand the above. I agree to the terms and conditions as stated.
