WHAT ARE THE BEST DAY TOURS IN NORWAY FOR FIRST-TIME VISITORS TO VOSS?

Start with the Grade III rafting or the Nærøyfjord kayak tour. Both run 3 to 6 hours, need no prior experience, and include all equipment. Day tours in Norway rarely offer this level of access to UNESCO-listed fjords and glacial rivers within the same afternoon.

IS THERE A VOSS KAYAK TOUR AVAILABLE AS A DAY TRIP FROM BERGEN?

Two Voss kayak tour options run from Bergen: Nærøyfjord and Hardangerfjord. Bergen to Voss takes just over one hour by direct train. Your guide handles all equipment at the base, 150 metres from the station. No kayaking experience needed for either tour.

HOW DO I BOOK DAY TRIPS FROM VOSS, NORWAY IN PEAK SEASON?

Book online through each tour's individual page. The Nærøyfjord kayak and Grade III rafting tours fill up fastest in July and August. Book at least a week ahead for those months.

For day trips from Voss in shoulder season (May, June, September), a few days' notice is usually enough.

CAN I COMBINE MULTIPLE DAY TOURS INTO A SINGLE TRIP?

Our combo tours pair two activities into one full day (E-MTB with rafting, or kayaking with biking). A 3-day Voss trip comfortably covers rafting, fjord kayaking, and a summit hike on consecutive days. For a fuller Voss vacation package, the multi-day tours above add accommodation and guided meals to the schedule.

CAN I VISIT VOSS ON A DAY TRIP FROM BERGEN?

Yes. Direct trains connect Bergen and Voss in just over one hour, making Voss one of the easiest adventure destinations to visit as a day trip. Most Outdoor Norway tours are scheduled to fit comfortably within a same-day return journey.
