Outdoor Norway is seeking a talented individual to fill our esteemed establishment's dual role of Reservations Manager & Web Content Creator, who will help us provide an outstanding Guest Experience.

Outdoor Norway is a renowned operator known for its exceptional service and commitment to excellence. We seek a motivated professional to drive these initiatives forward as we continue to elevate our online presence and streamline our reservation process. We provide intern training, and this is a long-term position. Candidates envision staying with the company for at least three years and beyond.

What we are looking for

We seek a dynamic Reservations Manager to join Outdoor Norway and assist in overseeing our booking system and software ecosystem integrations with our social channels. This role involves managing exciting adventure programs for customers in Norway and worldwide.

As Reservations Manager & Web Content Creator, you will collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing team to enhance the performance and optimisation of our e-commerce websites, shaping the future of our brand and driving success through innovative customer-centric approaches and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities of the Reservations Manager

  • Managing successful

    journey-based adventure programs

  • Managing Tickets on CRM

    leading the journey of customer success in HubSpot

  • Managing reseller & stakeholder relationships

    and building contacts for new business opportunities

  • Making bookings

    and coordinating client programs

  • Content creation for

    the company’s website, blog and social media channels

  • Leading the team

    and overseeing all logistics, activities, and rentals

  • Managing outstanding customer service

    and handling all customer queries

  • Managing the front desk

    attending to incoming calls, and promptly addressing email inquiries

  • Drive performance

    and optimisation of e-commerce websites with a focus on sales profit

  • Handling and editing photo and video material 

    for sales and promotion, supporting marketing  to drive sales throughout the different seasons

Desirable qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration or Tourism & Hospitality
  • Previous experience in the tourism industry
  • A global perspective coupled with a curiosity for comprehending varied target demographics and business domains.
  • Qualification or experience with HubSpot CRM (or other similar CRM) and sales analytics
  • Forward-thinking, strategic, and inventive
  • Excellent communication abilities in both spoken and written English, cultivating successful interpersonal connections. Proficiency in the Norwegian language is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and good skills with google.doc and spreadsheet

  • Assisting with compliance and risk management

  • Undertaking office-based program planning, management, and assessment

  • Identifying inefficiencies and contributing to sound alternatives

  • Proficient in juggling various tasks and effectively overseeing multiple priorities.

  • Booking adventures, taking payments and corresponding with customers

  • Coordinate with scheduling and logistics as bookings are received 

  • Assisting with staff training and mentoring
  • Upholds values of integrity, teamwork, empowerment, and ownership.

  • Experience with one or more of these channels: Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok campaigns

  • Assisting develop marketing strategies for both established and new products.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.
