On day two, we’ll swap our skis for snowshoes!

Accompanied by your local guide, you'll venture into the snow-covered landscapes around Voss, following peaceful trails through forests and across open winter terrain. Snowshoeing allows you to explore areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach on foot, making it a wonderful way to experience the mountains at a slower pace.

Along the way, your guide will share insights into the region's natural surroundings, history and local culture. Depending on the day's arrangements and conditions, there may also be an opportunity to enjoy local food prepared over an open campfire and warm up with a hot drink.

The accommodation is located just 50 metres from Voss Train Station, making arrival and departure straightforward when travelling from Bergen or elsewhere in Norway by rail.

  • Down or synthetic insulated jacket

DO I NEED PREVIOUS SKIING EXPERIENCE FOR THIS NORWAY WINTER HOLIDAY?

Yes, basic skiing experience is recommended. This 3-day tour is rated intermediate and includes both resort skiing at Voss Resort and guided powder skiing in the mountains around Voss. You don't need to be an expert, but you should already feel comfortable skiing on groomed slopes. The final day's powder skiing involves natural snow and terrain, so previous skiing experience is important.

Bergen Airport (BGO) is the most convenient gateway for reaching Voss. From the airport, you can travel into Bergen and continue by train to Voss. The train journey from Bergen to Voss takes just over an hour, and the accommodation used for this tour is located approximately 50 metres from Voss Train Station, making arrival and departure straightforward.

DO I NEED A CAR DURING THE 3-DAY WINTER HOLIDAY?
