Fast forward to 2016, that idea became Outdoor Norway.

Over the past decade we have welcomed thousands of guests to explore the mountains, rivers, and fjords of Voss and Fjord Norway.

Introduced river SUP in Norway as a commercial product.

We brought Fernando Fernandes to the Virgin Mountains to realize his lifelong dream of learning to ski and shot a big documentary with pitayafilmes. 

Stories like that kept on weaving a timeline of experiences and we kept growing.  

Pioneering bringing full-suspension Electric Mountain Bikes to Norway for rentals & Guided Tours. Revolutionising the local mountain biking scene in Voss & Norway

We executed a commercial production for Thule, centred on their premium rooftop carrier systems. Voss & Hadanger photos in magazines, trade fair stands and stores wall photos around the globe.

Launched multi-day tour with 4 trips on the portfolio. 

Managed 3 weeks of logistics for Brazil’s Globo Repórter, guiding on a nationwide documentary shoot across Norway.  

Became the only full-time operator on the Mighty Raundal River, establishing a permanent presence with the launch of the iconic Grade 3 Whitewater rafting Tour. 

A premier backcountry skiing tour through the iconic terrain of British Columbia, Canada.

While the industry faced a global downturn during the pandemic, the company defied trends by growing 12% and hosting more guests than in 2019.  

 Collaborate with Osprey and produced content in four elements: Whitewater rafting for duffel waterproof bags; Extreme whitewater kayaking for radio and mobile phone rugged dry bag; Fjord hiking and canoeing for lifestyle backpacks. 

A big milestone arrived. We moved into the former Avisa Hordaland newspaper building, sitting right along the shores of Vangsvatnet in Voss. More than just a new address, this was the foundation we had always dreamed of.

Year-round operations, proper security for our gear, dedicated spaces for bikes, boats, and winter equipment. Now built to match our ambitions.

With a team that had grown to 15 passionate people, this new chapter gave us the space and platform to keep innovating, expanding our offerings, and welcoming comfortably more adventurers to the best of Norway's outdoors.
