How to improve your mountain bike skills? Women’s mountain bike course.
At Outdoor Norway we are extremely passionate about having a female presence in the mountain biking community here in Norway and overseas.There is something uniquely special about riding together as a group of girls and we want to share that with you. No pressure, no egos, just a positive, inclusive and fully supportive group of like minded ladies here to have fun, make new friends, ride some epic trails and gain more confidence and skills on the bike.
T women’s mountain bike course is led by one of our International Certified Instructor over a day and is tailor made to suit all abilities from beginners to intermediate. So regardless of your experience or fitness level we guarantee you will gain some new knowledge, improve your riding technique and have a great time doing so.
As well as covering the basic fundamentals of mountain biking like body position, stability, control and cornering, our full day clinic offers ample time to fine tune these basic skills before moving our focus onto slightly more advanced techniques and manoeuvres. These new skills will enable you to ride steeper and more technically terrain as well as steps and small drops. Learning how to lift your front and rear wheels independently will allow you to clear any obstacles on the trail.
We will introduce you to pumping which is an important technique used to maintain momentum, flow and speed. And maybe even onto small jumps. So if you are feeling a little more adventurous and would like to push your boundaries a little more this might just be the course for you.
