With 12+ years guiding, Anil Singh brings expert whitewater skills and safety to Outdoor Norway. From Uttarakhand, India, he’s led expeditions in rivers like the Ganga, Bhagirathi, and Zanskar (India), the Inn and Oetz (Austria), and the Kananaskis (Canada), all at Class III–IV levels.
Certified WRT, IRF Level-3 guide, and Alberta-licensed, Anil ensures safety through careful checks and calm leadership. Off the river, he loves wakeboarding, surfing, and trekking. Fluent in several languages, he connects well with guests worldwide.

Mikkel is a local from Voss, fluent in both English and Norwegian. Currently a student, he has been working with us for two seasons and is the most lovely guide out there.

Specializing in whitewater kayaking and rescue operations, he is certified in WRT-PRO and BC Advanced Safety & Rescue. Known for his enthusiasm and team spirit, Finn ensures every river adventure is fun and safe. He’s also skilled in raft photography, indoor sports, and mentoring junior guides.

Manish, from Uttarakhand, India, is a highly skilled raft guide and safety kayaker with IRF Class IV and III certifications. Raised along the Ganga, he’s guided on rivers across India and Nepal. His achievements include podium finishes at the Ladakh River Festival and multiple first descents in Bhutan. Humble, people-focused, and eager to learn, Manish combines technical expertise with warmth and professionalism, making him a standout river guide and teammate.

Franco, a seasoned Brazilian Adventure Racer and Whitewater kayaker and rafter Athlete. After leading a Brazilian team to the top of the Brazilian Adventure Race Ranking for two years in roll, he launched his international career in 2008 by winning the LandRover G4 Challenge on solo category and qualified to represent Brazil in Mongolia and UK.
After a successful career in New Zealand, he arrived in Norway in 2010 as a rafting guide, settling in Voss in 2011.
Drawing on 25+ years in outdoor sports, Franco founded Outdoor Norway to share his passion for movement and nature. A paragliding instructor, mountain biker, skier, kayaker, and yoga teacher, he leads with energy, expertise, and a mission to inspire unforgettable, active experiences.
