For the best possible experience

The One-Sixty is a radical, all-new design that pushes Merida's hard-hitting enduro platform to new heights. Just as well, because once it’s there it’s ready to rip the longest, toughest descents too.

Merida one-sixty 500 ,60mm Full-suspension, RockShox Deluxe shock with 170mm RockShox Yari RC fork. New sizing allows riders to run a longer or shorter reach frame independently of their height, while suspension becomes more progressive as you size up, all with long-travel dropper posts.

Mountain-taming ability is handled by 1 x 11 Shimano Deore drivetrain with Race Face Ride chainset, Shimano Deore 4 pot hydraulic disc brakes.

It'll redefine your expectations of what a bike can do. The Sizes XS/S/M comes with a 27,5 inch wheels in the rear, and the L and XL come with 29" wheels.

And there's a dropper post too, for ultimate control.

Still have questions?

Can I use my own gear, such as helmet, pedals or gloves?

Yes, absolutely!

Our mountain bikes are equipped with standard flat pedals featuring pins. However, we also offer clip-in SPD and Crankbrothers pedals for those who prefer using clip-in shoes.

If you wish to utilize your own pedals and/or saddle, kindly bring them along, and upon your arrival, we'll happily replace them for you.

To ensure we accommodate your preferences smoothly, please notify us in advance by replying to your booking confirmation email. This way, we can prepare accordingly for your visit.

When does the mountain bike season start and end in Voss?

Our biking adventures kick off once the snow line exceeds 500 meters above sea level and continue until the snowfall begins again. Typically, this window spans from early April through late December, dictated by Mother Nature's whims. Our primary season runs from May to October.

If your plans fall outside this period, we recommend contacting us well in advance, as we might be exploring biking routes beyond Voss Municipality for several days or weeks.

Is the bike included in the tour package?

Yes it is! The mountain bike is included, saving you the hassle of bringing your own bike across continents. ;)

Should I tip my guide?

Tipping isn't customary in Norway, as it is e.g. in the USA. Our guides put in considerable effort to ensure your experience is both enjoyable and safe, maintaining the high standards set by Outdoor Norway.

While tipping is recognized as a standard practice in the industry and is always welcomed, it's never an obligation. It's entirely up to your discretion whether you choose to leave a tip. Your appreciation for the service provided is greatly valued either way.

How difficult is this mountain bike tour?

It's graded from skill levels 5 to 6, perfect for intermediate and experienced riders.

What should I bring with me on a mountain bike tour?

- Clothing suitable for biking, focus on comfort
- Thermal underwear (for colder conditions)
- Own gloves (for comfort or warmth)
- Windstopper jacket or rain jacket (for windy or cold weather)
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Enough water for the tour

Optional: Own pedals or saddle

Can I leave my bag/luggage at the base?

Yes absolutely, that's not an issue at all.

We have shelves available for storing your belongings while you're out on a tour. Rest assured, there's always a member of our staff present at the base, so your items will be securely looked after— nothing goes missing on our watch!

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Upon joining any activity, a waiver acknowledging risks must be read and signed. For minors, a parent or guardian is required to sign the waiver.
